Yes — we’ve been resurfacing Pebblecrete driveways for over 10 years. We apply a skim coat first to flatten the pebble texture, then spray our finish over the top. You won’t see or feel the Pebblecrete underneath; it comes up looking like any of our other freshly resurfaced driveways.

We colour-match and coat them, but they’re left open. Joints need to stay free to move — that’s what stops cracking.

Two options: we can coat directly over it (the pattern profile will still be faintly visible underneath), or remove the existing pattern first for a completely flat, uniform finish. Both options perform the same in terms of durability and lifespan.

We fill all visible cracks before coating, so they won’t be visible once finished. There’s a small chance a crack can reappear over time — that comes down to ground movement, which is outside anyone’s control, not a fault in the resurfacing itself.
