Pebblecrete Resurfacing

Resurface Your Pebblecrete Driveway, Path or Patio with Spray-On Cement

Yes — we can resurface over pebblecrete, and we have been doing it for over ten years. We apply a skim coat first to flatten the pebble texture, then spray our finish over the top. You will not see or feel the pebblecrete underneath; it comes up looking like any of our other freshly resurfaced driveways.

The texture goes — that is the point

This is the part people most often get wrong when they read about it elsewhere. The skim coat does not preserve the pebble texture, it removes it. If you like the pebbles, this is not the job for you. If you are tired of a surface that catches dirt, grows mould in the shade and is unpleasant underfoot, this is exactly the job for you.

Worth knowing

The detail

Where it works

  • Driveways, pool surrounds, patios, paths and courtyards.
  • Pebblecrete pool surrounds are a common one — the finished surface is textured and non-slip, rated P5, and it is far easier to keep clean than the pebbles were.

Heights and clearances stay the same

  • Even with a skim coat underneath, the total build-up is only a few millimetres.
  • Your drainage, door thresholds and garage door clearances are unchanged.
  • And as with every job, we pressure wash, mask up and fill the visible cracks before we spray.
  • We do not grind.

We take great care in our craftsmanship when you hire us to beautify your driveway, pool surround or patio.

Start to finish

Our Process

Pressure wash. Mask up the walls, garage doors, garden beds and any pool fencing. Fill the visible cracks. Spray, in the colour you have chosen. Then seal. We do not grind. Most driveways take two to three days from start to finish, depending on size and weather, and we will give you a firm timeframe once we have seen the job.

If your surface is plain concrete rather than pebblecrete, see concrete resurfacing. Browse the colours, see our projects, read our reviews, or view all of our services. For a price, get a free quote.

All you need to do before we arrive is clear cars, pot plants and furniture off the area. We handle the masking, cleaning and surface prep from there.
